What are you up to this weekend? The boys started a basketball class, which they take very seriously. When Toby made a basket during a scrimmage, he thanked his teammates for the support and said he couldn’t have done it without them. Cutest. Hope you have a good one, and here are a few links from around the web…

Hot-girl walks. “Sometimes the hottest things are the simplest — a fitted white T-shirt, calling people babe in a platonic way. There is nothing complicated about a hot-girl walk.” (NYMag)

This review of Conversations With Friends made me laugh.

Plus, three reader comments:

Says Nicole on a love letter to my anti-anxiety medication: “Lexapro saved me! I’ve been anxious since I was eight, but it took me until my thirties to get help. Life is so much better now. I recently saw a meme spoofing Ina Garten that said, ‘If you can’t make your own serotonin, store-bought is fine.’ I couldn’t agree more!”

Says Meghan on a cute swimsuit for an active mom who hates waxing: “As a sensitive-skinned redhead, I stopped shaving (everything) a decade ago. My husband was a quick convert, but the beach and my bush were the final frontier. Finally, I found a solution. Bike shorts with a bikini top are waterproof, squat-approved, and comfortable. Funny story: last summer, my husband and I went away alone, and I was just wearing a bikini. I got the laugh of my life when the teenage girls on the lounge chair next to me were whispering about how cool French women are and how they might stop shaving, too. The look on their face when I busted out my fluent English (complete with a Jersey accent!) was priceless.”

Says Tanya on a cute swimsuit for an active mom who hates waxing: “I haven’t waxed since my wedding in 2008, and I don’t think I’ve shaved my legs in two years. We live in the PNW where many people, however they identify, don’t remove body hair. No one cares. I wear a tankini swim top and a swim skirt (with zip pockets) for the appropriate activities. I remember growing up with female family members who never waxed and just wore their swimsuits like goddesses. Now I’m a mom of boys, and they’ve asked me why I have hair on my legs and I can responsibly say ‘most women have hair on lots of parts of their bodies, just like men do. Some people cut or shave it, and some don’t. Everyone does what they like or feel comfortable with.’”
